Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Automation Tester with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation testing.

Responsibilities :

As a Test Engineer, your day-to-day work activities will be as follows :

1. Test Planning and Execution :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.

- Perform both manual and automated testing to identify, report, and track defects.

- Collaborate with the development team to understand the software features and architecture.

2. Automation Testing :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter.

- Implement and execute automated regression tests to ensure software stability.

- Continuously improve and optimize test automation frameworks.

3. Defect Management :

- Identify, document, and report defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA.

- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

- Participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues.

4. Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and QA leads.

- Provide clear and concise feedback on testing progress and quality metrics.

- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Qualifications :

Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4.5-6 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both automation and manual testing.

- Good Knowledge in Bit Bucket, Jenkins.

- Good Understanding of CI CD.

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.

- Knowledge of performance testing and tools such as JMeter.

- Familiarity with scripting languages like JavaScript, or Groovy.

- UI Automation (Selenium with Java), API Automation(RestAssured with Java).

- Good Knowledge in Bit Bucket, Jenkins.

- Good Understanding of CI CD.
