Responsibilities :
1. Leadership and Strategy :
- Spearhead the development of innovative digital products and applications, aligning engineering efforts with business objectives.
- Design and implement strategic roadmaps to adopt cutting-edge technologies and deliver scalable, secure solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and innovation across multidisciplinary teams.
2. Technology and Solution Leadership :
- Drive pre-sales efforts by collaborating with stakeholders to craft compelling, client-aligned solutions.
- Lead the implementation and scaling of the TechPulse Navigator for aligning engineering solutions with business goals.
- Develop and enhance assets and accelerators to improve productivity and reduce time-to-market.
- Establish and manage technology alliances and partnerships to leverage market innovations.
3. Project Delivery and Governance :
- Ensure all projects adhere to the Engineering Center governance framework.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and quality standards, in capacity of technology and engineering process owner, not owning the project delivery per say.
- Proactively manage risks and communicate delivery changes to stakeholders.
4. People Development and Growth :
- Lead and deliver Engineering Center (EC) initiatives to drive talent development and innovation.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams, focusing on upskilling and fostering a collaborative culture.
5. Operational Efficiency and Optimization :
- Maximize utilization by optimizing bench resources to meet organizational demands.
- Drive hiring process improvements, ensuring an efficient recruitment strategy.
- Monitor and manage the average cost per resource, ensuring operational sustainability and profitability.
5. Client and Stakeholder Engagement :
- Engage with clients to understand needs, present tailored solutions, and deliver high-impact results.
- Influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and alignment.
6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement :
- Drive the development of accelerators and tools to enhance solution quality and reduce time-to-market.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement across technology, project delivery, and operations.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating advancements into the technology stack.
Required Skills : Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed.
The must have requirements are :
- Extensive Leadership Experience : Over 15 years of experience in software engineering and delivery management, with a proven track record in senior leadership roles such as Director and Associate Director.
- Domain Expertise : Deep expertise in P&C insurance systems, with experience designing and delivering business-critical solutions.
- Cloud and Application Engineering : Comprehensive knowledge of cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS), microservices, and DevSecOps practices to enable scalable and secure applications.
- Proven Innovator : Demonstrated success in building accelerators, tools, and strategies to drive productivity and enhance time-to-market.
- Stakeholder and Client Management : Strong experience in engaging with stakeholders, managing client relationships, and delivering high-impact solutions that align with business objectives.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship : Skilled in building and managing high-performing teams across remote locations, with a focus on talent development and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Delivery Excellence : Expertise in managing end-to-end delivery of complex software solutions, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Operational Efficiency : Strong focus on process improvement, continuous delivery, and leveraging data-driven insights to achieve organizational goals.
- Communication and Influence : Ability to effectively communicate technical strategies and progress to stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and alignment.
