IT Project Coordinator

Role & responsibilities :

• Efficient tracking and management of project timelines and milestones.
• Coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Timely and accurate reporting of project status to stakeholders.
• Maintaining project documentation, ensuring all project records are up to date.
• Ensuring project tasks are assigned, prioritized, and completed on schedule.
• Identifying and addressing potential project risks and delays proactively.
• Coordinating resource allocation and managing team workloads effectively.
• Ensuring project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
• Managing change requests and ensuring proper documentation and communication.
• Supporting project managers in budgeting and cost management efforts.
• Decide on task prioritization within the project team to meet deadlines.
• Identify and escalate potential risks and issues to the project manager for resolution.
• Approve resource allocation for tasks within the scope of the project.
• Determine the need for project documentation and updates based on team progress.
• Make recommendations for process improvements to streamline project execution.
• Make decisions on adjusting project timelines, in consultation with stakeholders.
• Evaluate the progress of tasks and make decisions on adjustments or reassignments.
• Approve minor changes to the project scope within predefined limits.
• Recommend solutions for addressing bottlenecks or delays in the project schedule.
• Decide on communication methods and frequency for project status reporting.
• Ensuring consistent and clear communication among all stakeholders.
• Managing project timelines to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Allocating and managing resources effectively across multiple tasks.
• Proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Controlling scope creep and preventing changes from affecting project goals.
• Balancing project requirements with budget constraints.
• Maintaining team motivation and ensuring efficient collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

A bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Project management certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are preferred.
