About the Team & Role:

The team which the proposed candidate will be joining will be finance controllership. We are responsible for financial and investor reporting, ensuring various compliances and shaping up products and processes in accordance with the said compliances and controls. The overall team size is of about ~20 people making us a lean and fast-moving part of the org.

The central objective of the role is to build Instamart 2.0 from finance perspective.

The candidate will be responsible for various reporting requirements, making and updating projections and coordinating with various teams for tracking different facets of a project for grocery line of business.

What you would do :

• Partnering with business, product and tech teams to ensure achievement of deadlines in projects.
• Leading projects and tech product development from controllership side, providing inputs on controls and statutory requirements and acting as overall stakeholder for controllership.
• Assist in implementation of Internal Financial controls and other statutory requirements.
• Responsible for implementing process controls and improvements by acquiring good understanding of underlying business and data.
• Financial and investor reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Variance analysis and anomaly detections along with analysis of reasons behind the same.

Desired Experience :

• CA with experience in financial reporting
• Good understanding of financials and related reporting requirements
• Working knowledge of GST
• Ability to synthesize large and complex data into actionable information
• Must be very well versed with MS-excel along with working knowledge of MS-word and data modelling.
• Knowledge of SQL will be an added advantage
