Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Networking, Security, Virtualization, HCI, Storage, and Backup solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to define and adjust go-to- market strategies.
- Revenue and Business Development
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets for the assigned region.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, system integrators, and channel partners.
- Expand the regional customer base by identifying and onboarding new accounts.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching for skill development.
- Drive a culture of accountability and excellence within the sales team.
Customer Engagement:
- Conduct regular meetings with enterprise clients, providing tailored solutions to address their
- Networking, Security, and Infrastructure needs.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to present comprehensive and competitive solutions.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring seamless delivery and after-sales support.
Operational and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and activity dashboards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, pre-sales, and operations, to achieve strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines while managing budgets and resources efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 10-15 years in sales and business development, specifically in Networking, Security, Virtualization, HCI, Storage, and Backup domains.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IT Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and driving regional growth.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with clients and internal teams.
- Customer-Centric: Exceptional customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Analytical Skills: Data-driven approach to decision-making and sales strategy formulation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Business. An MBA is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with system integrators or IT solution providers.
- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, HPE, or Dell).
- Experience in multi-region sales management.
