You will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies that drive revenue growth, optimize product assortment, and enhance customer engagement. You will analyze market trends, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute category strategies aligned with company goals.
2. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
3. Define and manage the product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
4. Work closely with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
5.Monitor category performance through data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
6. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to optimize category growth.
7. Identify opportunities for product innovation and expansion.
8. Manage inventory levels to balance demand and supply effectively.
9. Lead category-related projects and initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in category management, merchandising, or procurement.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data interpretation.
4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
5. Knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and category management tools.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-driven mindset.
