Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Chennai region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition, managing a high-performing sales team, and achieving revenue targets in alignment with the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share in Chennai.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the BFSI and enterprise sectors, leveraging existing networks and generating leads through proactive outreach.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers, to understand their business needs and position our software solutions effectively.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to maximize their performance and ensure alignment with sales objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to drive coordinated efforts in delivering value to customers and prospects.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights to the India Sales Head to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- MBA from a reputable institution.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in selling software/solutions to the BFSI and enterprise sectors.
- Strong understanding of the Chennai market dynamics, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
