Job Description :

Sutherland is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Lead - Data Analytics professional with expertise in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience in programming, and a deep understanding of data-driven problem-solving methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end data analytics projects, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model development, and deployment.

- Develop and validate machine learning models, including predictive analytics, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems.

- Implement Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for text analytics, sentiment analysis, and named entity recognition (NER).

- Work extensively with Python (preferred) or R for data manipulation, statistical modeling, and ML implementation.

- Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and aggregation.

- Utilize descriptive analytics methods to generate business insights and actionable recommendations.

- Ensure the integrity and quality of data through advanced data preprocessing techniques.

- Build robust data pipelines and workflows for efficient model deployment and scaling.

- Develop clear and compelling data-driven stories through strong data visualization and storytelling skills.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and domain experts, to drive analytical initiatives.

- Document methodologies, workflows, and key findings in a structured manner.

Required Qualifications :

- 5-8 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or machine learning.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (B.E / B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Tech preferred).

- Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R for statistical analysis and ML model development.

- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, model validation techniques, and statistical methodologies.

- Experience with SQL programming for data extraction and manipulation.

- Hands-on experience with data wrangling, feature selection, and dimensionality reduction techniques.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
