Product Owner (6-9 yrs)

Job Title : Product Owner / Product Manager - Travel Technology

Locations : Pune, Remote

Timings : 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM India Time

Job Description :

You will be the key decision-maker for our software products on our scrum teams. You will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog to ensure the delivery of high- quality travel products that meet customer needs and business objectives.

Travel domain experience is mandatory.

Job Responsibilities :

- Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer insights, market trends, and business goals.

- Work closely with engineering, design, operations, and other team members to align on product vision, strategy, and execution plans.

- Use data analytics and user research to inform product decisions, measure performance, and iterate on features to, continuously, improve the product.

- Engage with key internal and external partners to build strong relationships, gather feedback, and advocate for resources and support needed to achieve product goals.

- Work daily with the development team to provide answers, feedback, and direction on work items, enablers, and user stories.

- Prioritize the sprint backlog.

- Create and author user stories with detailed acceptance criteria written in the customers' voice.

- Conduct the formal review and acceptance of user stories implemented by a team within a sprint.

- Seek and improve processes across the entire product team.

Skills :

- Travel domain experience is mandatory.

- Experience in working on travel portals will be a major advantage.

- Experience of working with software developers.

- Solid understanding of product management methodologies, agile development practices, and user-centered design principles.

- Deadline-oriented and capable of self-management.

- Experience in any task management tool such as Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps, or, Trello.

Additional Skills :

- Excellent communication skills.

- Natural analytical way of thinking.

Experience and Certification Requirements :

- 6-9 years of experience.

- Graduate in any field, preferably computer science.

- CSM and CSPO certifications would be an added advantage, but not mandatory.
