Jamf Pro Engineer - Apple Device Management (4-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage Apple device management solutions using Jamf Pro.

- Deploy and configure Apple devices (macOS, iOS, iPadOS) across the organization.

- Develop and enforce security policies for Apple devices, including device encryption, password complexity, and app restrictions.

- Manage software updates and app deployments for Apple devices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Jamf Pro-related issues, including device enrollment, software installations, and policy enforcement -problems.

- Integrate Jamf Pro with other enterprise systems such as Active Directory and LDAP.

- Automate Jamf Pro tasks using scripting languages (e.g, AppleScript, Python, Ruby).

- Provide end-user support for Apple devices and Jamf Pro-related issues.

- Stay current on the latest Apple device management technologies and best practices.

- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new Apple device management solutions.

- Assist in the development and maintenance of Jamf Pro-related documentation and training materials.

Required Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of Apple platforms (macOS, iOS, iPadOS).

- Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro.

- Experience with Apple device deployment and management.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (AppleScript, Python, Ruby).

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other Apple management tools (e.g, Apple Configurator, DEP).

- Knowledge of enterprise mobility management (EMM) concepts.

- Experience with mobile application development.

- Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Jamf Certified Administrator)
