- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager - Institutional Business to join a reputed retail brand in Gurgaon.
- The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of proven experience in corporate sales, business development, or the gifting industry, with a strong understanding of the North Indian market.
- This role is integral to driving the brand's presence and sales through corporate clients, stockists, resellers, and the gifting sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Institutional Sales & Business Development - Drive sales and business growth through corporate clients, institutions, and bulk buyers (e. , gifting programs, employee engagement, promotional events).
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the corporate sector.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for business development to achieve sales targets in the institutional segment.
- Manage and expand relationships with key corporate accounts, building a long-term partnership with - businesses for repeat orders.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to corporate clients, addressing their needs and providing customized solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and procurement managers at corporations, educational institutions, and other key sectors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and recommend suitable retail solutions, product packages, or gifting options.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the institutional business.
- Proactively follow up on leads and convert them into sales.
- Develop tailored sales pitches and strategies to meet customer needs and maximize revenue potential.
- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with stockists and resellers to increase product distribution across different regions.
- Monitor and evaluate stockist and reseller performance, providing support to ensure that business goals and targets are met.
- Collaborate with resellers to optimize sales and distribution strategies in the market.
- Leverage your understanding of Canteen Stores Department (CSD) and Central Procurement Cell (CPC) processes to tap into government and institutional sales opportunities.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, pricing, and policies related to CSD and CPC.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant government bodies and institutions to facilitate business growth.
- Lead negotiations with corporate clients, vendors, and partners to close large-scale deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the business and the client.
- Prepare and present customized proposals, pricing, and terms that meet client needs while maintaining profitability for the brand.
- Gather insights on market trends, competitor activity, and potential opportunities in the institutional business space.
