Deputy Manager

Role & responsibilities -

1. Accounts & Financial Management:
• Oversee day-to-day Accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L statements.
• Monitor cash flow, fund management, and working capital requirements.
2. Statutory Compliance & Audit:
• Ensure compliance with taxation laws such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for compliance and regulatory purposes.
3. Budgeting & Financial Planning:
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost analysis reports.
• Analyze financial trends, variances, and provide insights for cost optimization.
• Implement financial controls to improve efficiency and profitability.
4. Banking & Treasury Management:
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions for fund management and financial transactions.
• Manage loans, bank guarantees, and other financial instruments.
• Optimize interest costs and financial risk management.
5. Process Improvement & ERP Implementation:
• Streamline accounting and financial processes for improved accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure effective utilization of ERP and accounting software.
• Implement best practices and automation in financial reporting.
6. Team Leadership & Coordination:
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring skill development and performance improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for financial insights and operational efficiency.
• Support senior management with financial analysis and reports.
