Senior Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pharmaceutical warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Role & responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders.

2. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.

3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GDP, GMP, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations.

4. Inventory Management: Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing stock discrepancies.

5. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.

6. Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and minimizing the risk of accidents and incidents.

7. Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage warehouse budgets and costs, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.

8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

9. Transportation Management: Manage transportation operations, including carrier selection, routing, and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

10. Sample and Gift Dispatch: Oversee the dispatch of samples and gifts to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

3. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of GDP, GMP, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations.

4. Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
