The Vendor Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating with, and managing relationships with vendors, including florists, caterers, photographers, and other service providers
You will ensure that all vendor services meet our high standards and contribute to the success of each wedding event
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with vendors to meet client needs and event requirements
Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure the best terms and value for clients
Coordination: Coordinate vendor services and logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services
Quality Assurance: Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and client expectations
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies with vendors promptly and professionally
Client Interaction: Work with clients to understand their preferences and requirements, and recommend suitable vendors
Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of events, ensuring all vendor-related aspects are seamlessly integrated
Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records of vendor contracts, agreements, and performance evaluations
Bachelor s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business, or a related field
Proven experience in vendor management, preferably in the wedding or events industry (typically 2-5 years)
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
