Regional Recruiter

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, particularly within the retail and optical industries. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the growing needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the company.
• Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
• Coordinate and manage the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future openings.
• Conduct reference checks and background verifications.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Assist in onboarding new employees and ensure a smooth transition into the company.
• Participate in career fairs and other recruitment events to promote Specsmakers as an employer of choice.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the retail or optical industry.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Preferred:

• Experience in the retail optical industry will be an added advantage.
• Candidate should not hesitate to travel if situation arises.
