Supervisor Civil

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and manage construction activities at our project sites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure quality construction within the stipulated timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth execution of work.

Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project plans, drawings, and specifications.

Manage labor, subcontractors, and materials to optimize site productivity.

Conduct quality checks at different stages of construction to maintain high standards. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry best practices at all times.

Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve any on-site issues. Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and workforce deployment.

Conduct regular site inspections and report on project status to management. Ensure timely completion of work as per project schedules and deadlines.

Address and resolve any technical or operational challenges on-site.

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field. Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor in residential or commercial construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in site management and coordination.

Hands-on experience in handling construction equipment and tools. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with high-rise building construction. Knowledge of AutoCAD and project management tools. Certification in safety and quality management will be an added advantage.
