Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Supervisor for Civil Works to join our team in Suriname. This is an on-site opportunity that requires strong leadership, expertise in civil works, and the ability to oversee complex construction projects. As the Lead Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing and ensuring the success of our civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and oversee civil works, ensuring all activities meet the required standards.

Manage and guide teams working on bridge, piling, and concrete construction projects.

Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule construction tasks efficiently.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality control throughout project execution.

Review project drawings and plans, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.

Perform material takeoffs and manage project registrations and tenders.

Assist in the creation of working drawings and estimates.

Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.

Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in supervising civil works.

Preferably with experience in piling and jetty construction.

Strong experience in planning, overseeing, and executing construction projects.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead teams effectively.

Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and project timelines.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with 3D drawing programs (e.g., SketchUp or similar).

Ability to perform material takeoffs and create accurate project estimates.

Experience handling project registrations, tenders, and relevant documentation.
