Deputy Manager - Tax - IT/Online (5-15 yrs)

Taxation:

- Manage and oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, Income Tax, and TDS filings.

- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities in alignment with business goals.

- Liaise with tax authorities and handle assessments, appeals, and litigations.

- Stay updated on regulatory changes in taxation and provide timely insights to ensure compliance.

- Support cross-border taxation and transfer pricing requirements where applicable.

Strategic Contributions:

- Provide financial insights to leadership to drive strategic decisions regarding taxation matters.

- Collaborate with other departments to assess tax implications of new business initiatives and policies.

- Manage relationships with external consultants, legal advisors, and government agencies.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing audit and taxation team.

- Foster a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Experience Required

- 5+ years of progressive experience in taxation, preferably instartup or service industry.

- Proven track record of managing complex tax structures in a high-growth organization.

- Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations, and other relevant laws.

- Hands-on experience with Tally and tax management systems
