Application and Security Monitoring Engineer

Job Title: Application and Security Monitoring Engineer

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Function: IT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and verify routinely all aspects of production; takes corrective actions when necessary
• Perform tasks assigned by Manager in relation to product, process, and system audits etc.
• Ensure accurate reporting data, evaluate findings.
• Report process deviations and product failures, assist in investigations and development of solutions.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Assist in development and organization of written SOPs and in-house quality programs
• To work in weekends (24/7 support)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelors degree with a computer science background
• Any degree Minimum 2+ years' experience administering multiple monitoring systems such as Site24x7, Azure, Compuware etc.
• Knowledge in SFTP, Http, Https Protocols, and file share system.
• Good knowledge and experience in PowerShell script for the alerts management
• PowerShell using object-oriented programming semantics like classes, properties, methods, inheritance, etc
• Knowledge of working in cloud environment (cloud Azure or AWS) would be preferrable
• Graduate in any computer stream.
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Good team player - one who can prioritize in a fast moving, constantly changing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Meet Daily/Weekly/Monthly assigned tasks.
• Ability to work with a variety of senior and junior team members and build smooth working relationships ensuring reporting timelines and targets.
• Highest attention to detail.

COMMITMENTS:

• Standard Hours 40 hours per week, one hour lunch, Monday Friday. Additional hours as needed.
• Willing to work in shifts as and when needed.
