Business Development Manager - Datacenter

Role & responsibilities

Purpose:

To manage, support and supervise the business development of Data Center Colocation Services. The job holder is responsible for Order Booking, Technical Evangelism, Solution selling and Business Development for Data Centre Colocation Services. Candidate needs to be a technical evangelist, solution selling skills, team player with a strong customer obsession towards Data Center Colocation services.

Main Priorities:

1. Responsible for positioning, value selling and influencing customers for Colocation services.
2. Identify and generate new business opportunities. Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
3. Provide strategic support to the sales team. Assist in creating sales pitches and presentations.
4. The position provides requisite insights towards developing the pricing/commercial model for the solutions and win themes for deals.
5. Maintain long-term relationships with clients. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Minimum 12+ years of experience in business development or sales in the colocation or IT services industry.
2. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.
7. In-depth knowledge of colocation solutions.
