Job Description

A Snapshot of Your Day

This role is in the field of Electrical Engineering based in Ahmedabad, where you ll get the chance to work with teams impacting not only design but also in production. Order execution to be part of across the globe level projects including India.

How You ll Make an Impact

This role is mainly on Customer Order Execution projects.
Involvement in the bid phase and assistance during commissioning activities as an addition.
Responsible to fulfill on time all technical obligations committed by the Company, including those sub-contracted to external suppliers related to Electrical Equipment including but not limited to MV and LV Motors, Motor Control Centers, Excitation Panels, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) & Heaters.
Manage and work in Globus Teamcenter & SAP.
Support NCC prevention initiatives by using 8D and 5WHY methodologies.
Retain and develop new supplier base for cost out initiatives.

What You Bring

Must have a bachelor s degree in electrical engineering with 5 years of proven experience in field of Electrical engineering and design.
Should be conversant with updated national / International standards and codes.
Familiar with all American/European Norms
Major activities to be performed
Ensures timely decisions on open issues, bringing up if necessary.
Coordinates the Engineering disciplines and the cooperation with involved regional Engineering units including their interfaces.
Resolve the site /Supplier/Client queries
Complete package ATEX and CE certification
Experience/ Exposure to work with & interpretation of technical specifications of - world-class consultants like: EIL / TEIL / UHDE / LTC / Technip / Shell DEP / ARAMCO / PDO etc.
This role is accountable to prepare the following major engineering and documentation:
Motor, VFD & Breaker Specification for enquiry and purchase
Motor Start up procedures
VFD & Transformer Sizing calculations
Main Motor SLD
Electrical Load Chart
Electrical Block diagram
Work with various Electrical Equipment
Instrument - Electrical Interface Sheet
Inspection & Test plan and Test procedures
Power Cable Sizing - for MV & LV Motors, VFDs & Breakers
Cable Schedule
Manufacturer Datasheet

MV & LV Motor Datasheet

VFD Datasheet

Breaker Datasheet

Soft Starter Datasheet

Local Control Stations

Heaters

LV Equipment (JB, Push Buttons, Luminaries, Cable Trays/Conduits)

This role is accountable to review the following major engineering and documentation:
Main Motor & Aux Motor offers including Datasheet and GAD
VFD / Soft Starters
Circuit Breakers & Transformers
Excitation Panels
Electrical in line and process heaters
Local Control Stations
Cable Schedule
Earthing Diagram
Hazardous Area Certificate
Inspection and Test Plan including Test Procedures for Electrical Equipment
Basic knowledge of - Rotating equipment compressor/ Pumps & Hazardous area as per IEC-60079 all versions.
Candidate should possess superb communication and presentation skills, Strong soft personal skill i.e. great teammate, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly & optimally etc.
