Videographer Cum Editor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and creative Videographer cum Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content, as well as editing and producing finished videos that align with the companys goals and vision. You will be involved in all aspects of video production, from pre-production planning to post-production editing, ensuring the final product is polished and ready for distribution across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Videography:

• Capture high-quality video footage for various projects including promotional videos, events, interviews, product demos, and social media content.
• Operate video cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to ensure the best possible visual and audio quality.
• Set up shots and manage on-location filming logistics, ensuring smooth and efficient production workflows.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure video content aligns with the brands messaging and goals.

Video Editing:

• Edit raw footage into compelling videos that meet project specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Work with sound, visuals, and graphics to create cohesive, engaging, and polished final products.
• Apply color correction, sound editing, and any other post-production techniques to enhance the overall quality of the video.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to timelines.

Creative Input:

• Contribute creative ideas to storyboarding and video concepts, offering solutions for enhancing video content.
• Provide input on video styles, trends, and techniques that could improve overall production quality.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the marketing, social media, and design teams to understand project objectives and audience expectations.
• Attend project meetings and brainstorm sessions to provide creative input on video concepts and strategies.

Asset Management:

• Organize and maintain video footage, ensuring easy access and proper backup of all production assets.
• Archive completed video projects for future use or reference.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor (portfolio/demo reel required).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Canva or similar programs.
• Experience with Photoshop & Illustrator
• Experience with video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices.
• Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, and resolutions for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
• Creative eye with attention to detail and a passion for storytelling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in motion graphics or animation is a plus.
• Knowledge of video SEO and social media trends is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in film, Media, Communications, or related field.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, especially in marketing or digital media.
• Familiarity with 3D animation and visual effects is an advantage.
