AEM Developer - Javascript/Servlets (5-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AEM Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AEM development, with a proven track record of building and maintaining robust and scalable AEM solutions. You will be responsible for developing custom components, templates, and workflows, as well as integrating AEM with other systems. This role requires a deep understanding of AEM architecture, excellent front-end development skills, and familiarity with DevOps practices.

Job Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain custom AEM components, leveraging AEM's core components and best practices.

- Create and manage AEM templates and pages, implementing responsive design principles.

- Implement and manage multi-site management (MSM) and blueprint functionalities.

- Develop and utilize Content Fragments and Experience Fragments for content modeling and delivery.

- Design and implement AEM dialogs and design dialogs for content authoring and component configuration.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTL (Handlebars Template Language).

- Work with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, managing assets and workflows within AEM.

- Develop and maintain Apache Sling servlets and OSGi services.

- Configure and manage AEM Dispatchers for caching and security.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, deployment, and testing.

- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and content authors to deliver high-quality AEM solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM features and best practices.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of proven experience in AEM development.

- Extensive experience with AEM Custom/Core Components.

- Strong skills in Template/Page Creation, MSM, and Blueprint.

- Proficiency in Content Fragment and Experience Fragment.

- Experience with Dialogs/Design Dialogs.

- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, and HTL.

- Knowledge of DAM, Assets, and Workflows within AEM.

- Experience with Apache Sling, Servlets, and OSGi Services.

- Familiarity with Dispatchers and CI/CD.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills : Experience 1 with AEM as a Cloud Service.
