Deployment & Compliance Engineer - SCCM & Intune (5-8 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Deployment and Compliance SCCM & Intune Expert to join our team. This role focuses on ensuring the deployment, configuration, and compliance of IT systems and applications across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing user accounts, security settings, compliance features, and supporting the use of SCCM and Microsoft Intune for endpoint management. You will work in an Office 365 L2 compliance role to ensure company data is secure, compliance standards are met, and end-users receive technical support in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities :

- Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, licenses, and permissions for end-users across Microsoft environments such as Office 365, Azure AD, and Intune.

- Implement and enforce access controls based on company policies, ensuring appropriate roles and permissions for each user.

- Work with Active Directory, Azure AD, and other identity management tools to ensure secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.

- Configure and manage compliance policies and security features using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and

- Microsoft Intune to ensure organizational devices and applications meet security and compliance requirements.

- Manage mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) policies to ensure secure access to

corporate resources across all mobile devices.

- Apply security baselines and data protection policies to ensure data security and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

- Provide L2 support for troubleshooting complex compliance-related issues in SCCM, Intune, and Office 365 environments.

- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to device compliance, security settings, and deployment.

- Work closely with the helpdesk and other teams to resolve escalated support tickets and ensure timely solutions to technical problems.

- Create, configure, and manage retention policies and data lifecycle policies within Office 365 and other Microsoft environments.

- Work with legal, security, and business stakeholders to enforce data retention policies and implement necessary retention tags and restrictions on email, documents, and SharePoint data.

- Monitor, audit, and report on data retention activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

- Create, update, and maintain detailed technical documentation, user guides, and best practice support articles.

- Maintain and manage a knowledge base for common issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions related to SCCM, Intune, and compliance features.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and internal teams regarding security compliance, retention policies, and endpoint management.

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in compliance processes and security configurations.

- Implement best practices for compliance management, SCCM deployments, and Intune configurations.

- Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to streamline and improve workflows, processes, and overall efficiency.

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for deploying applications, patches, and updates to end-user devices.

- Expertise in Microsoft Intune for managing mobile devices and ensuring mobile security and compliance.

- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (Office 365) tools, specifically in compliance and security configurations.

- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and other Microsoft identity management tools for user authentication,

authorization, and permissions.

- Familiarity with Microsoft security baselines and configuration management for devices.

- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).

Compliance and Security :

- In-depth knowledge of compliance regulations and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).

- Proven experience in creating and managing data retention policies and security configurations.

- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving compliance-related issues, particularly related to security settings, endpoint management, and data access.
