Hiring EXIM Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities:

Import

• Daily coordination with the Shipping Line Documentation team and ICD teams for vessel IAL updates.
• Collecting shipping line Enblock data and monitoring tracking and updating activities.
• Monitoring pan-India location-wise OVAEDI reporting and timely submission of accurate reports to the shipping line.
• Saving all En-blocks month-wise for preparing reports and providing data as required by management.
• Obtaining necessary permissions from Customs (e.g., TP permission, scanning permission, amendments in IGM, seal mismatch, etc.) upon request from the shipping line.
• Ensuring that after the completion of activities, details are provided to the Accounts department for invoicing and billing to the shipping line.

Export

• Allotment of empty containers from Depot/CFS/ICD to the party against valid bookings from the shipping line.

• Coordinating with vendors for updating rail and road movement with the terminal after verifying required documents as per shipping line requirements.

• Taking necessary actions to ensure accurate submission of reports and data to avoid any claims or charges.
• Ensuring timely updating of all moves to the shipping line by vendors.
• Ensuring all vendors update location-wise vessel-wise tally sheets, EGM, TDR, and store shipping bills properly in the centralized document management system.

• Ensuring that after the sailing of a vessel, EGM is prepared and forwarded to the shipping line for submission to Customs within the stipulated time.

• Collecting and verifying vendor invoices with operational data, obtaining approval from the shipping line, and coordinating with the Accounts department for further processing and payment to vendors.
• Preparing various reports as required by management on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

• Facilitating required support for vessel boarding and crew change activities.
• Providing all customs-related services as requested by the shipping line.
• Daily coordination with the shipping line and vendors.
• Analyzing and preparing reports as required by management.

Qualification: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skill Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of shipping line documentation, vessel tracking, and customs processes.

• Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal teams, vendors, and shipping lines.

• Proficiency in report generation and data analysis.
• Experience in handling vendor invoices and ensuring timely payment processing.
• Familiarity with centralized document management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
