Job Summary:

This Job requires Managing shipments, coordinating with customs authorities, and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Order booking in SAP - Imports & Intragroup Purchases.
• Knowledge of Incoterm, their cost impact.
• Preparation of Pre & Post shipment documents, including Proforma invoice, and sending it to the customer / banks within the defined stipulated timeline.
• Aware of international shipping containers, their specification for sea mode, exposure of handling air shipments etc.
• Finalising Freight forwarder as per International & domestic norms. (shipment planning, their tracking, optimise route, their cost in line with budget/predefined costing)
• Micro understanding on Import Custom clearances their overall process and documentations including EDI data interchange, IGM, BOE, HSN, B/L, AWB, CoO, FDS bonds, CFS, Shipping line cut off etc.
• Knowledge of handling High Sea Sales transaction, their documentation flow, timelines.
• Knowledge of Cross Trade / 3rd Country shipments, their freight forwarding, documentation, Switch BL.
• Handling of Intragroup / SVB transactions, their understanding in BOE.
• Knowledge of Warehousing aspects, their infrastructure, Cost impact, handling of finished goods FIFO, HIFO, LIFO basis as applicable.
• Inbound / Outbound Surface Transportation, knowledge of commercial vehicles, compliance, RTO related paperwork including EWB.
• Handle Letter of Credit, aware of clauses, preparation of draft L/C, their final validation.
• Back-office support to the customer managers.
• Monitoring & close coordination with the plants (mainly overseas) for expediting the dispatches, securing documents and their cascading appropriately.
• Monitoring & close coordination with the customers for order execution.
• Coordination with banks related with Documents, L/C, Bill of Exchange etc.
• Payment tracking & follow-ups with the customer & subsequent reconciliation, netting off, reporting etc.
• Knowledge of Forex hedging data preparation.
• Procurement of Imported goods - well versed in the PR to PAY process.
• Coordination for timely Vendor payments, submission of invoices along with associated PO's approval etc.
• Branch reporting like Schedule-2, SOUP preparation, sales plan etc.
• Willing to adopt new task, additional jobs as an effective team member.

Requirements:

Essential:

Minimum Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in EXIM, higher education will be preferred.

Preferred:

Good written & verbal communication. MS-Office (Excel, Word, PPT), SAP
