Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a multinational corporation (MNC) or large-scale manufacturing environment, and must have handled workforces of 500+ employees. This role is key in driving HR operations, employee engagement, compliance, and performance management while aligning HR strategies with the business objectives of our fast-paced, global organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Lead and execute HR strategies in alignment with business goals to drive organizational success.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to address complex business challenges, workforce planning, and talent management strategies.
    • Provide HR insights and solutions that enhance organizational performance, employee satisfaction, and retention.
  • Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:
    • Oversee all aspects of employee relations, ensuring effective conflict resolution, handling grievances, and mitigating risk in compliance with company policies.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on employee performance and conduct, implementing appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes to fulfill staffing requirements across various departments, ensuring alignment with workforce needs.
    • Work closely with hiring managers to develop accurate job descriptions, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines for both skilled and unskilled labor.
  • Performance Management:
    • Lead the performance appraisal process, ensuring that employees are aligned with company goals through regular performance feedback and development opportunities.
    • Design and implement employee development programs to support career growth and skill enhancement.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
    • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with industry standards.
    • Analyze compensation data and make recommendations for improvements to retain top talent.
  • HR Compliance & Legal Oversight:
    • Ensure full compliance with all local, regional, and global labor laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
    • Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to maintain legal compliance, particularly in multinational and multi-site operations.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention:
    • Design and implement programs to increase employee engagement and improve retention rates, including conducting employee surveys and feedback sessions.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive work culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and high performance.
  • HR Data Analytics & Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain key HR metrics and reports to track employee performance, turnover, and other key business indicators.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on HR data analysis.
  • Change Management & HR Projects:
    • Manage HR-related projects, such as organizational change, process improvements, and HR system implementations.
    • Lead initiatives to continuously improve HR processes, policies, and employee experiences in line with business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of HR Generalist experience, with at least 5 years in an HR management role, preferably in a multinational or large-scale manufacturing environment (500+ employees).
  • In-depth experience in managing a diverse workforce, handling complex employee relations, and driving large-scale HR initiatives.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and compensation/benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulatory compliance, and HR best practices, particularly within global manufacturing and EMS sectors.
  • Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, handling high employee volumes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite. Experience with global HR software/tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR are a plus).

Preferred Skills:

  • Multinational experience, especially within the EMS or manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of HR professionals.
  • Experience with workforce planning and restructuring in large organizations.
  • Proficient in HR analytics and using data to drive decision-making.
