Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Quality & Food Safety will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards across raw materials, production, and distribution. This role will oversee quality assurance programs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and co-packers to uphold the highest food safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong regulatory expertise, problem-solving skills, and leadership capabilities to enhance product quality and consumer trust.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Safety & Quality Management:

• Implement and maintain quality control processes, food safety policies, and compliance programs.
• Ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to mitigate food safety risks.

Supplier & Co-Packer Collaboration:

• Monitor supplier and co-packer compliance with company quality and food safety standards.
• Conduct audits and oversee approval processes for new suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Work closely with Procurement to ensure quality expectations are met.

Quality Control & Complaint Management:

• Oversee customer complaint investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Analyze quality performance indicators and drive improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely resolution of non-conformances and product quality concerns.

Leadership & Team Development:

• Lead and mentor the Quality & Food Safety team, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
• Provide training on regulatory updates, emerging food safety trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance goals are met.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in food science, Quality Management, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Experience: 710 years in food quality, safety, and compliance roles, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.

• Expertise in:
• HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations.
• Supplier audits, co-packer management, and quality improvement programs.
• Risk assessment, complaint resolution, and regulatory compliance.
• Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in the dairy or food manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with Middle Eastern food regulations and compliance requirements.
• Certification as a Lead Auditor for Food Safety Management Systems is a plus.
