Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager Data Engineering
The Senior Manager of Data Engineering is responsible for leading and managing design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support the organization s data needs. They oversee the implementation of robust data management frameworks, ensuring high performance, reliability, and efficiency in handling large datasets. In this role, they collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics, while also ensuring adherence to best practices in data governance, security, and architecture. Additionally, the Senior Manager plays a key role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvements in data processes.

Responsibilities
Analyze and organize raw data
Build data systems and pipelines
Evaluate business needs and objectives
Interpret trends and patterns
Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
Build algorithms and prototypes
Combine raw information from different sources
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
Identify opportunities for data acquisition
Develop analytical tools and programs
Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field
Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
Hands-on experience with SQL database design
Great numerical and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Master s degree in computer science is a plus
Data engineering certification (e.g IBM Certified Data Engineer, Snowflake, Dataiku, Alteryx) is a plus
Experience in Azure Data Pipeline, Data Factory, IICS etc is preferred
