ServiceNow Developer - ITSM/ITOM Modules (10-12 yrs)

Job Description :

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support various business needs, such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Customer Service Management (CSM), and other modules. The developer works with stakeholders to understand requirements, build custom applications, and ensure the platform is optimized for performance and scalability.

Roles Responsibilities :

Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, and configure applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

- Customize and configure the core modules of ServiceNow like Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Asset Management, and CMDB.

- Develop and enhance workflows, scripts, and business rules.

- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.

Solution Design :

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

- Provide recommendations for best practices in ServiceNow design and architecture.

- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and architects to ensure successful delivery.

System Maintenance :

- Perform routine maintenance, upgrade, and patch management for the ServiceNow platform.

- Ensure data integrity, implement security policies, and maintain system performance.

- Troubleshoot issues and provide support to end-users.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, Facilities, and other business units, to implement ServiceNow solutions.

- Participate in regular scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an agile development team.

- Provide technical documentation and training for end-users and administrators.

Performance Optimization :

- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements for scalability.

- Implement efficient data management and ensure effective use of the ServiceNow platform.
