Ecommerce Architect - Microservices Architecture (10-18 yrs)

The E-commerce Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the technical architecture of e-commerce solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, web development, cloud environments, and scalable architectures to deliver seamless and engaging online experiences.

Responsibilities :

- Developing and maintaining high-level architecture documentation, ensuring solutions are scalable, available, and secure.

- The architect must design and optimize solutions using major e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud) or custom solutions.

- Establishing and managing integrations with other enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, and logistics, is essential.

- The E-commerce Architect ensures platforms are optimized for high traffic and sales, leveraging caching, CDNs, load balancing, and database optimization.

- Implementing cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required for infrastructure scaling and cost management.

- Security protocols must be enforced to protect customer data and payment information, ensuring compliance with regulations like PCI DSS, GDPR, and CCPA.

- This role collaborates with UX/UI teams to design mobile-responsive, user-friendly sites.

- It requires close coordination with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.

- Staying up-to-date with e-commerce trends and driving innovation in architectural approaches is essential.

- The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in e-commerce architecture and 3+ years in a lead role.

- Proficiency in web technologies, RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and modern front-end frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js) is required.

- Certifications in e-commerce platforms, cloud architecture, or cybersecurity are a plus.
