Manufacturing Lead

Experience Required:

- Strong background in contract manufacturing is mandatory.

- Demonstrated experience in managing Greenfield and Brownfield projects is highly desirable.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project Coordination and Execution:

- Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive timely project delivery.

- Take ownership of facility design and layout for Greenfield and Brownfield projects, ensuring operational requirements and constraints are effectively addressed.

- Prepare detailed manufacturing documentation for new facilities and third-party (3P) manufacturing units.

Supplier and Partner Management:

- Oversee and streamline the operations of existing contract/3P manufacturing units.

- Identify, onboard, and operationalize new contract/3P manufacturing partners.

- Resolve partner-related issues while maintaining strong, compliant relationships with suppliers.

- Lead contract negotiations with inputs from legal and other key stakeholders.

- Conduct site visits to assess readiness for product launches and new product development activities.

Process Optimization and Implementation:

- Evaluate workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement best practices in both existing and new manufacturing setups.

- Facilitate product and process approvals, permits, and licenses in partnership with project, quality, and regulatory teams.

- Ensure adherence to CGMP and safety protocols across all plant operations.

- Incorporate cutting-edge practices into equipment selection, process design, and facility layout for optimal performance.

Cost Management:

- Pinpoint opportunities for cost optimization across contract/3P manufacturing units.

- Implement continuous improvement strategies to achieve sustainable cost savings in operations.
