We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Planning to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, resource allocation, and ensuring that all planning activities align with our organizational goals. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing our production processes and ensuring timely delivery of our products.
Facilitates the timely planning of deliveries within a supply chain and optimize inventory planning to meet service, cost and timelines objectives.

• Maintain inventory at target levels
• Maintain schedule stability
• Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory
• Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels
• Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage
• Demand forecasting: Estimating future demand for products or services based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors. Accurate demand forecasting helps in determining production levels and schedules.
• Capacity planning: Assessing the production capacity of facilities, equipment, and labour to ensure that they align with the anticipated demand. It involves analysing current capacity, identifying bottlenecks, and making decisions regarding capacity expansion or contraction.
• Production scheduling: Creating detailed plans and schedules for production activities, including the allocation of resources, and determining the sequence of operations. Scheduling considers factors such as product requirements, availability of resources, and delivery deadlines.
• Material planning: Determining the quantity and timing of raw materials, components, and other inputs required for production. This involves maintaining an appropriate inventory level to avoid stockouts or excessive inventory holding costs.
• Shop floor control: Monitoring and controlling production activities on the shop floor to ensure that they adhere to the planned schedules and quality standards. It involves tracking work progress, addressing deviations or delays, and resolving any issues that may arise during production.
• Quality control: Implementing measures to maintain and improve product quality throughout the production process. This includes quality inspections, testing, and implementing corrective actidons to address any quality issues.
• Performance measurement: Collecting and analyzing production data to evaluate the performance of the production system, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions for future planning.
