Production and Planning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop plans and schedules: Create production schedules that include the start and end times for each task
• Coordinate with departments: Work with other departments to optimize workflow
• Monitor inventory: Keep track of stock levels and replenish inventory as needed
• Analyze data: Review production data to identify areas for improvement
• Implement quality control: Set quality standards and work with quality control to ensure products meet them
• Estimate needs: Calculate how many people, machines, and raw materials are needed for a project
• Set goals and priorities: Assign tasks and priorities to workers and other staff
• Supervise production: Ensure production activities are completed on time and within budget
• Resolve issues: Identify and fix problems as they arise
• Create reports: Generate status and performance reports for managers
• Manage paperwork: Keep track of project paperwork

Preferred candidate profile

*Must have at least 3 yrs of experience in production and planning, scheduling ,Manpower Handling and qc

*Must have experience in Sheet metal engineering covering Laser cutting, Bending, Fabrication, Welding, Powder coating.

*Must have Latest knowledge on tools like 5S, Lean , Six Sigma

*Must have experience in Quote, BOM, Stores ,Raw Material knowledge ,Drawing knowledge.

*Must be a Problem Solver and good decision making skills
