About you and this role

Join as SC Scheduling specialist at Dow in Mumbai (India). The Scheduler decides what, when and where to produce or replenish for multi-application products. The role is a combination of Production Scheduler and DRP Supply Planner for value center within Dow business.

In this role you will balance supply and demand over the tactical horizon to achieve optimum product availability, asset utilization and supply chain efficiencies.

Responsibilities

Leads, develops, decides, communicates and implements tactical plans across the assigned plants - while maintaining strong linkage into plant to ensure conformance to schedule and drive labor / capacity plans, and into Areas to secure customer service delivery.
Develops plans to support business upsides, new innovations, ensuring product availability for all customers.
Manages RM/PM/FG inventory levels to target expectations while keep CX/ Customer Experience at target level.
Establishes safety stock targets and manages supply plans against those targets.
Supports preparation for the Supply Review by running and reviewing appropriate reports/KPIs and dashboards, to ensure a productive discussion and IBP process.
Owns supply-demand balances for assigned desk, drives resolution of strategic gaps and significant capacity challenges and develops sourcing strategies.
Manage DRP for Intercompany RM and work with other plant planners to get the material On time.
Closely work with suppliers and get the required RM and ensure timely availability.
Actively Participate in plant MPS meeting and confirm the RM/PM coverage and highlight if any concern on stock.
Drives continuous improvement, Monitor, implementation of planned cost initiatives Projects.

Qualification

Bachelors degree, (Preferably Chemical or other Engineering bachelors/supply chain management)
Fluency in English is mandatory (verbally and in writing).
MBA Supply chain /operations added advantage.

SAP/Data analytics Skills- Power BI/Python/Advance excel skills.
Project management skills.
