Manager - Planning & Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our demand and production planning, supply planning, inventory management, order management, and warehouse and dispatch planning. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our supply chain processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement demand planning strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations, ensuring seamless execution of plans.
  
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to inform forecasting decisions.
  
• Design and maintain effective supply chains that meet customer needs while minimizing costs.
  
• Lead a team of planners to achieve organizational goals, providing guidance on best practices and process improvements.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in Demand Planning or related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management).
  
• MBA/PGDM degree from a reputed institution (Operations specialization preferred).
  
• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective demand planning strategies.
  
• Strong understanding of SAP systems; ability to leverage data analytics tools for insights-driven decision making.
  

Key Responsibilities:

Demand and Production Planning:

• Ensure demand forecast accuracy.
• Maintain fill rate.
• Achieve daily production planning compliance.
• Ensure new product availability, exports, and AC orders meet targets.

Supply Planning (RMPM):

• Achieve monthly and weekly plan compliance.
• Ensure PM availability.
• Maintain RM availability.
• Optimize RM PM utilization.
• Manage RM PM aging.

Inventory Management:

• Define and maintain DOC and MIN Max levels.
• Ensure production to FG stocks up compliance.
• Manage inventory aging.
• Minimize out-of-stock inventory.

Order Management (OMS):

Achieve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) targets.

Reports Review:

Ensure compliance with DOC, OOS, CFR, and freshness reports.

Warehouse and Dispatch Planning:

• Plan dispatches according to criticality and expiry dates.
• Ensure STN compliance.
