What would you do?
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the demand forecasting and planning process, ensuring that supply and demand are aligned to meet business goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain, to develop and manage demand plans that optimize inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and experience with demand planning best practices.You will be part of Supply Chain Planning Team which is responsible for end to end supply planning and executionIn Demand Management you will assess, design, build and Implement best practices on process, organization, and technology for Demand Planning capabilities including Demand Sensing, Forecasting, Demand Collaboration, Demand Planning within Integrated Planning.


What are we looking for?

Education:o Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus

Experience:o 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory roleo Proven experience in demand forecasting, S&OP processes, and inventory management within a fast-paced, high-volume environmento Familiarity with ERP and demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar tools)

Skills:o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insightso Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and present data to senior leadershipo Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmento Experience with advanced forecasting techniques and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)o Strong attention to detail and accuracy in demand forecasting and reporting

Experience in a consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing environment

Knowledge of demand planning best practices and continuous improvement methodologies

Proficiency with statistical forecasting models and techniques (e.g., time series analysis, regression analysis)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting:Lead the demand planning process by creating accurate and timely forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams. Ensure forecasts align with business objectives, customer demand, and inventory levels

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to gather insights on upcoming product launches, promotions, and market conditions that could impact demand. Facilitate regular meetings to review and adjust demand forecasts

Inventory Optimization:Work closely with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure that demand plans translate into optimal inventory levels, balancing the risks of stockouts and excess inventory. Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and work to mitigate them

S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning):Act as a key player in the S&OP process, leading demand review meetings, reviewing key metrics, and ensuring alignment between demand and supply plans. Present forecast and demand insights to senior leadership to support decision-making

Continuous Improvement:Continuously monitor forecast accuracy, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices in demand planning and forecasting techniques. Leverage data analytics and advanced forecasting tools to improve process efficiency and accuracy

Reporting & Analysis:Generate regular demand reports, including forecast accuracy, inventory levels, sales trends, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide actionable insights to stakeholders based on data-driven analysis

Capacity Planning:Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to ensure that resources are in place to meet demand forecasts. Support capacity planning efforts to align production schedules with anticipated demand

Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of demand planners, providing guidance, training, and support. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the demand planning team

Vendor & Supplier Management:Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that they have visibility into demand forecasts and are able to meet delivery requirements. Work with procurement to ensure timely order placement
