Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership in Process Transformation

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for end-to-end process optimization to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to redesign workflows for scalability, cost-effectiveness, and improved service delivery.
  • Align transformation efforts with overall business goals and growth strategies.

2. Championing Process Excellence

  • Institutionalize process excellence methodologies, including:
    • Lean: Enhance efficiency by eliminating waste and reducing process redundancies.
    • Six Sigma: Apply data-driven techniques to minimize defects and improve quality.
    • Kaizen: Promote a culture of continuous, incremental improvement.
    • Agile: Enable iterative and adaptable approaches to process improvements.
  • Build organizational capabilities by training and mentoring teams in process excellence tools and practices.

3. Leadership in Transition Management

  • Oversee the transition and stabilization of operations, such as back-office services, customer support, or knowledge process outsourcing.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Monitor the success of transitioned processes, ensuring alignment with organizational KPIs.

4. Vendor and Alliance (V&A) Management

  • Build and nurture strategic vendor and alliance partnerships to support operational and technology transformation goals.
  • Negotiate contracts to optimize cost savings and value delivery while ensuring alignment with service-level agreements.
  • Collaborate with partners to co-develop innovative solutions that enhance operational outcomes and customer experiences.

5. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy

  • Design and implement GTM strategies for new services, technology solutions, and process innovations.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure effective positioning and adoption of new offerings.
  • Develop business cases and present proposals to stakeholders to secure buy-in for GTM initiatives.

6. Automation and Digital Transformation

  • Identify high-impact areas for automation and lead the implementation of RPA, AI, and other digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive the adoption of emerging technologies to optimize processes such as data management, workflow automation, and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure successful integration and scalability of digital solutions.

7. Risk and Compliance Leadership

  • Establish robust governance frameworks to ensure operational compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with risk management teams to proactively address potential vulnerabilities in processes and systems.
  • Regularly review and update processes to align with evolving regulatory and operational requirements.

8. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on process excellence, automation, and transformation initiatives.
  • Drive collaboration across internal teams, including operations, IT, and business units, to ensure alignment on goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including partners and clients.

9. Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement using data-driven decision-making and employee engagement.
  • Leverage performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of implemented changes and identify further improvement opportunities.
  • Foster innovation through experimentation and the adoption of new ideas and technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, process excellence, or transformation roles within the service industry or ITES.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale transitions, implementing process improvement methodologies, and leading digital transformation.
  • Proven track record of managing vendor and alliance relationships and executing GTM strategies.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS, BPMN) and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of RPA platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism) and other automation technologies.
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or equivalent methodologies are highly desirable.

Leadership Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities to oversee diverse and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and partners.

Communication Skills:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
