Supply Chain Excellence Lead @ Noida

Role & responsibilities

• Lead all Value Realization (Cost Savings) Initiatives across GFL for the following areas of procurement.
• All Raw materials
• Packaging materials
• Spares & Consumables for Repairs and maintenance.
• Contract labors/services.
• Sludge disposals.
• Lead all Value Realization (Cost Savings) Initiatives for Logistics (Inbound & Outbound).
• To carry out detailed analysis of overall Inventory and recommend for its better management/depletion.
• To carry out detailed rate benchmarking/Zero based rate analysis for the applicable procurement items.
• To study existing product costing and suggest recommendation for better representations/improvements.
• To evaluate existing vendor evaluation process and suggest preferred changes as per best practice/Industry norms.
• Support in developing/finalizing various Business Case for senior leadership review.
• Support for implementation of all Business Excellence/SCM Excellence/Business Transformation program at site.
• Identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains through data-driven insights.
• Closely working with various consultants for implementation/validation of various projects.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase plant profitability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cost excellence practices in true spirits.
• Collaborate with various vendors for various new developments/Process Initiatives.
• Lead Process Digitization journey for Supply Chain work stream.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE in (Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial) + MBA(Operations) + 5 to 7 years of experience
• Candidate with Project Management/Six Sigma exposure will be given preference

1. Exposure to Supply chain management/Strategic Procurement.

2. Exposure to chemical process industry.

3. Good Exposure Project Management (PMO).

4. Hands on working in Cost Saving Initiatives/Business Transformation Initiatives.

5. Good exposure in Digitization initiatives/Industry 4.0 tools.

6. Hands on Experience on various SAP modules.

7. Hands on experience of Techno-commercial comparison & Business case development.

8. Strong Analytical & problem-solving skills.

9. Strong Business Acumen & Understanding on Change Management.

10. Good at Excel/Power BI/Other relevant software.

11. Collaborative approach with cross-function team (Prior consulting experience will be preferred)
