Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive specializing in Ocean/Sea Import operations to join our team in Mumbai City, Maharashtra. As a vital part of our freight and logistics company, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering client relationships. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in transportation and logistics, eager to make an immediate impact within our organization.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Ocean/Sea Import sector to meet or exceed sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the transport and logistics industry.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms to achieve win-win outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and ensure service delivery meets customer expectations.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights for management review.
Stay updated with industry regulations, trends, and best practices to provide knowledgeable service to clients.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in Sales, specifically in Ocean/Sea Import logistics.
Strong understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for sales.
Ability to travel as required to meet client needs.
A degree or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
