Assistant Manager - Projects

As a Assistant Manager, Projects at Salad Days, you will be responsible for overseeing the setup and execution of new cloud kitchen projects. This role demands expertise in project planning, contractor management, and adherence to strict quality and safety standards to ensure the successful launch of each location.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently plan and execute the setup of cloud kitchens according to design specifications, ensuring timely completion and adherence to Salad Days quality standards.
• Manage project budgets effectively to ensure cost-efficiency and financial accountability.
• Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with contractors and vendors involved in civil, plumbing, ducting, fresh air, electrical, and other essential services for setting up cloud kitchens.
• Ensure the quality and compliance of civil works and activities with relevant regulations and standards.
• Oversee construction sites to ensure they operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
• Identify potential risks and proactively implement strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation for reference and audit purposes, ensuring all project milestones are recorded.

Requirements

• bachelors degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the food service or retail construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of construction, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
