Job Description
- You will be responsible for overseeing the construction process and ensuring that it adheres to the project plan and specifications.
- You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Supervising and monitoring construction activities on-site
- Ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with the project plan and specifications
- Ensuring that all materials and equipment are available on-site when required
- Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Conducting regular quality checks and inspections
- Maintaining accurate records of site activities
- Ensuring that all safety procedures and regulations are followed on-site
- Providing technical support to the Project Manager and other team members as required.
Scope Impact:
As a Site Engineer (Civil), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of the project. You will have a significant impact on the project timeline, budget, and quality standards. Your ability to manage construction activities on-site, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with stakeholders will be key to the success of the project.
What are we looking for:
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the infrastructure development sector will be an added advantage.
