Assistant Manager - NPD

Job Responsibilities

• Drive new product development initiatives for cables aluminum conductors from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market needs and KECs strategic goals.
• Play a vital role in achieving NPD order intake targets by supporting the technical sales team and contributing to cost-competitive product design.
• Conduct thorough market research, analyze competitor landscapes, and identify emerging trends in cables aluminum conductor technology to inform product development strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and procurement, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
• Prepare and present compelling technical presentations and proposals to internal and external stakeholders, showcasing KECs innovative solutions and value proposition.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of intellectual property strategies related to new product development.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the NPD team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in new product development within the cables aluminum conductor or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of cables aluminum conductor manufacturing processes, industry standards, and testing procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
