Job Description
About Us: Goel Enterprises is a leading manufacturing unit specializing in plastic injection moulding and blow moulding. We are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of our clients while adhering to the highest industry standards
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented New Product Development (NPD) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The NPD Engineer will be responsible for managing day-to-day NPD activities in alignment with IATF standards. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a passion for innovation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience in product development within the automotive or non- automotive manufacturing sector is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end NPD process, from concept development to product launch, ensuring compliance with IATF standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product development.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and emerging trends.
- Develop and document product specifications, designs, and testing procedures.
- Coordinate prototype development and testing, analyzing results to refine products.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the product development process.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation in product development.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards is an advantage.
Working Hours: Mon-Sat, 9am-7pm
