Job Description
- Layout Inspection:
- Conduct thorough inspections of manufactured components and assemblies to verify conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Utilize precision measurement tools to assess dimensions and geometric attributes.
- Evaluate product features against specified tolerances and identify deviations.
- Line Inspection:
- Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Inspect products at various stages of the manufacturing process to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Implement corrective actions as needed.
- Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI):
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of finished products prior to shipment to ensure they meet customer requirements.
- Verify product completeness, functionality, and appearance
- Prepare PDI reports and documentation.
- Process Validation:
- Participate in process validation activities to ensure that manufacturing processes can produce products that meet quality specifications.
- Develop and execute validation protocols.
- Analyze validation data and prepare reports.
- Patrol Inspection:
- Conduct regular patrols of the production floor to identify potential quality issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance.
- Provide feedback to production teams on quality-related matters.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Plastic Engineering, or a related field
- CIPET/Diploma is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in quality engineering or quality control, preferably in the automotive supplier industry, autoparts manufacturing, appliances, injection molding, blow molding, fabrication, or welding processes
- Strong knowledge of quality control tools and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC)
- Experience with layout inspection, line inspection, PDI, process validation, and patrol inspection procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Flexibility to work overtime
