Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage employee queries related to payroll, tax deductions, and benefits.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements, including PF, ESI, gratuity, and tax filings.
- Handle audits and inspections related to HR compliance.
- Keep updated with changes in labor laws and ensure company policies are aligned with the latest regulations.
Employee Data Management:
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS.
- Handle documentation for onboarding, exit formalities, and other HR processes.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare payroll reports, tax filings, and compliance dashboards for management review.
- Analyze data to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement in payroll processes.
Policy Implementation:
- Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies related to payroll and compliance.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure employees are aware of relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR payroll and compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS.
- Familiarity with labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
