Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to oversee and manage civil engineering tasks for our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have 08-12 years of experience in real estate, expertise in project planning, execution, project handover, and a proven ability to lead teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, site supervisors, and technicians.
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.

Project Planning and Execution:

• Prepare detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical and logistical challenges.
• Ensure projects comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and timelines.

Construction Supervision:

• Supervise construction activities to ensure alignment with design specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Perform site inspections and resolve on-site issues promptly.

Design and Documentation:

• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and construction documentation.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations.

Real Estate Project Handover:

• Oversee and manage the process of handing over completed projects to clients or end-users.
• Conduct inspections, address client concerns, and ensure all deliverables meet contractual obligations.
• Document and resolve any post-handover issues efficiently.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and government authorities.
• Provide technical advice and resolve conflicts effectively.

Cost Control and Optimization:

• Monitor project costs and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Proficiency in AutoCAD:

• Utilize AutoCAD to create and review designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Key Qualifications:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
08-12 years of hands-on experience in real estate and construction projects.
Experience in real estate project handover is mandatory.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, building codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes:
Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
Familiarity with sustainable construction practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
