Mep Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor - MEP with 5-8 years of experience in residential real estate projects or hotel/hospitality construction. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MEP services, infrastructure systems, and project handovers. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

MEP Services Supervision:

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Ensure MEP services such as HVAC, electrical wiring, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems are executed as per design and safety standards.
• Inspect infrastructure services, including water supply, drainage, and power systems, to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Project Handover:
• Assist in managing the MEP aspect of project handovers.
• Prepare and resolve snag lists related to MEP services to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide necessary documentation, manuals, and training to clients during handover.

AutoCAD Proficiency:

• Review and interpret MEP AutoCAD drawings to ensure on-site work aligns with designs.
• Make minor modifications to drawings as required to address site conditions.

Quality Control and Inspections:

• Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Identify and rectify defects or deviations in MEP works promptly.

• Coordination and Communication:
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve MEP-related issues.
• Coordinate between various teams to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems with other construction activities.

• Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
• Track and report the progress of MEP works against project timelines.
• Highlight challenges or potential delays and propose corrective actions to stay on schedule.

Material and Resource Management:

• Monitor inventory of MEP materials and ensure timely availability on-site.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower and resources for MEP installations.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in MEP works for residential real estate or hotel/hospitality projects.
Proven experience in project handovers.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
Strong understanding of MEP systems, infrastructure services, and safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
