Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & PR Manager to lead our brand communication strategy across digital and traditional platforms. This role will be responsible for managing media agencies, coordinating press conferences, and ensuring impactful product launches through strategic storytelling. The ideal candidate will have experience in PR, media relations, and social media marketing within the automotive or lifestyle sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Public Relations & Media Management
- Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand visibility
- Manage relationships with media agencies, journalists, and influencers to secure high-impact coverage.
- Plan and coordinate press conferences, product launches, and media events.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and brand announcements.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
Social Media Strategy & Content Creation
- Oversee social media presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Develop engaging and brand-aligned content, including videos, stories, reels, and influencer collaborations.
- Plan and execute digital campaigns around new product releases, brand milestones, and community engagement.
- Analyze social media performance using analytics tools and optimize strategies accordingly.
Crisis Communication & Reputation Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for handling brand-related crises and negative publicity.
- Develop crisis communication plans and ensure timely and professional responses.
- Monitor online conversations and brand sentiment, addressing concerns proactively.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align messaging and campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative teams for designing visuals, videos, and other media assets.
- Support dealership and retail-level marketing efforts with localized PR and social media strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in PR, media relations, or social media marketing (preferably in the automotive, lifestyle, or consumer goods industry).
- Strong media network with established relationships in automotive, business, and lifestyle media.
- Experience in handling press conferences, product launches, and media events.
- Hands-on experience in social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and social content.
- Passion for motorcycles and the automotive industry is a plus.
