We are looking for a passionate and experienced PR Manager to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The PR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies for our clients.
This role requires a strong understanding of media relations, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working in Public Relations is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives andPR needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on PR matters.
- Provide regular updates and reports on PR activities and results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media contacts.
- Pitch stories and secure media coverage for clients across various platforms (print, online, broadcast).
- Proactively identify media opportunities and build media lists.
- Write compelling press releases, media kits, pitch letters, articles, blog posts, and other communication materials.
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with client messaging.
- Plan and execute comprehensive PR campaigns, including strategy development, budgeting, timeline management, and execution.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make adjustments as needed.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g , creative, marketing) to ensure seamless execution of PR activities.
- Track media coverage and analyze results.
- Prepare regular reports for clients, highlighting key achievements and providing insights for future PR strategies.
- Utilize media monitoring tools and databases.
- Assist in developing and implementing crisis communication plans for clients, as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, media landscape changes, and best practices in public relations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve PR strategies and tactics.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience working in Public Relations is essential.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in public relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relations skills and a proven track record of securing media coverage.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and media contacts.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of social media and digital PR.
- Proficiency in using media monitoring tools and databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
